Applying for a fresh or reissued passport through e-Form Submission is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:
1️⃣ Register on the Passport Seva Portal.
2️⃣ Log in to the Passport Seva Portal using your credentials.
3️⃣ Download the e-Form for fresh/reissue of passport.
4️⃣ Fill in the form and click the Validate & Save button. This generates an XML file, which is required for submission.
5️⃣ Upload the XML file via the “Upload e-Form” option (Only XML files are accepted; PDFs are not).
6️⃣ Click “Pay and Schedule Appointment” to book an appointment at a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).
7️⃣ Select your PSK location.
8️⃣ Make an online payment using Credit/Debit Cards (MasterCard & Visa), Internet Banking (SBI & Associate Banks), or SBI Bank Challan.
9️⃣ Print the application receipt containing your Application Reference Number (ARN) or Appointment Number.
